Digital signal processing. [need help]

Hello everybody. I have given an assignment and I just need little help. In my assignment I have to get audio signal from microphone and show it's response in digital frequency domain. I'm getting signal from microphone in matlab but don't know how to convert into digital domain. Thanks in advance.

If your audio signal is in MATLAB (perhaps using audiorecorder and its friends) it is already a digital signal. Pay specific attention to the sampling frequency ‘Fs’, and the class of the data, since you may need to cast the data as double to process it if it not already a double array.

If you mean frequency domain then
doc fft
should help. There are plenty of examples in the help that you can access by searching for fft or following links from that page.
