import file into the workspace

Is it possible to import a file directly into the workspace. For example i have a wav file and i want to import to the workspace without having to type any code on the command window, is it possible?

Navigate to the appropriate directory -> Choose the file -> Right Click -> Select 'Import Data ...'

When I do that, then error Window appear
