Simulink Difference between Unbuffer & "To Sample"

Hello Everyone, I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the differences between "unbuffer" from the DSP system toolbox and the "to Sample" blocks. I've read the documentation on both and I just don't understand how they're different, what "to sample" should be used for, and why it's any different from the "unbuffer" block. Would anyone be able to shed some light on this?
