Command Window doesn't respond and prompt signs are missing (R2015b)

Hi there,
In my Matlab version R2015b (64bit), running on a Computer with Windows 10, the command window doesn't respond to anything I type. This means, that it shows the words I entered, but doesn't give an answer (resp. shows the result), nor does it show the prompt signs. However, the instructions I typed in the command window, appear in the history... The screenshot in the appendix shows my issue.
Next to the version R2015b, I have the R2014a installed, which works perfectly. Do you think it could be a problem running two different versions on a single computer?
Thanks a lot for your support!

Same here, with an attached pic. r2016, restarting will probably solve the problem.

It still thinks you're entering code, like you're adding lines to a for loop or something. You probably did something like that. I see some ends up there - maybe you need another one to end this block of code. Or else just type control-c to bail out of everything.
