Hi
I am in need of a logic to design a start and stop timer when the subsystem is enabled. If it can be done with a counter, how? . . . any other method welcome. .

Just put an integrator within your enabled sub-system. Feed the integrator with a constant. Your output will then only ramp up when the subsystem is enabled.
Change the value/sign of your constant to control how fast the counter counts up/down.

Hello C J Harris,
If you can elaborate the solution, may be a screenshot or .mdl file
Thanks
