Import and edit a NURBS from a .stp or .igs file to Matlab

Hello everyone,
So my problem is writting in the title .
I have already studied this point:
- the use of .igs format and I found the IGES Toolbox to import with Iges2Matlab and get with Getsurfacedistributedpoints : http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/13253-iges-toolbox/content/getSurfaceDistributedPoints.m
the points of the surface with their local coordinates , however I don't understand very well the inputs required by this function.
I am currently looking for a library to import a .stp file in matlab .
Could you help me , please?
Thank you

Hi,
I recently uploaded a respective library for importing (trimmed) NURBS surfaces as .stp-files:
Hopefully it helps.
Best, Michael
