I have used surf(x,y,z) to get a 3d suface.How to save it as an image and retreive the matrix value of this image.I want to be in 3 dimention

If you use command surf(x,y,z) to produce the 3d surface, you can save the x,y,z parameter to seperate .mat file and call them later. For example: save('3dval','x','y','z')
