if I have an ECU that has an existing program on it, how can I upoload that program back to a MathWorks product to view and modify it? what products would I need?

We designing add-on fuel controls to permit substitution of some of the diesel fuel of an over the road truck engine with natural gas. Our system interfaces with the ECU. This works well. For better integration, we would like to be able to see the actual program in the ECU and possible modify it. Is this possible without assistance from the OEM?

As an example, for the Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines, the ECU calculates fuel flow and air flow. We would like to see that calculation and modify the control algorithm slightly to work with the blended supplemental fuel.
