Hello Guys, I have recently installed MATLAB on my Debian 8 Machine, everything works fine. I have just a litle problem with Mupad, its inpossible for me to write with my keyboard characters like ^ or ``. When i press these keys on my board, nothing appears. Every other characters works perfectly. This problem just appears in MUPAD, but not in MATLAB. Maybe it is important to know, that im using a german keyboard, so you can find the position of this two keys on some picture on the internet.
I would be grateful, if somebody can help me.

I got it. Select "no dead keys" I have ArchLinux running on a Mac with gnome. If I change to input source : Deutsch (Macintosh, ohne Akzenttasten) the ^ sign works in mupad.
