Is there a way to see the code created by the matlab interface the same way you can record visual basic on excel. A simple example would be importing a csv. It is easy to click the import data button and make sure the first row is dropped, etc. I'm curious if I can then see the code that was executed to import that data. Thanks

If you use uiimport() then over at the top right where it says "Import Selection", there is a drop-box. That drop-box has options for "Generate script" and "Generate function" that will create appropriate code for you.
