i have some difficulties to plot wind speed and direction. is there any someone answer my questions especially for complete these syntag? thank you for your attention.
x=ncread('uwind.nc','LONGITUDE21_94') y=ncread('uwind.nc','LATITUDE44_78') z=ncread('uwind.nc','TIME') v=ncread('uwind.nc','U10') save('dataangin','x','y','z','v')
v1=v(:,:,4000)

Plotting wind direction is a straight forward attempt in MATLAB.
If you have (x,y) coordinates and respective wind directions (u,v); use quiver(x,y,u,v). This is in case of 2D.
If you have (x,y,z) coordinates and respective wind directions (u,v,w); use quiver3(x,y,z,u,v,w). This is in case of 3D.
For magnitude, calculate the resultant and use contour.

Hi Sir KSSV, I just read your comment above 'For magnitude, calculate the resultant and use contour' , How to do that?
Much appreciated.
