Assuming you are talking about Individual License, the magic number is 4. So you can install MATLAB on 4 PCs. These 4 PCs can run on any OS, i.e. 2 Windows and 1 MAC and 1 Linux (or any other combinations to make up 4).

However, for Student Version or Home licenses, the answer is 1 (one), not 4.

What if I have desktop and laptop at home and I am using matlab home license? I cannot use by matlab on both PCs signed in to my account? Why? Doesn't make sense ...:(
