How modify wav file?

Hello, I wanted to ask about How could modify or change the sample rate of a .wav file that has fs = 48000 Hz . I would put a sampling frequency of 44100 Hz, but do not know how.Any ideas? Por ejemplo yo leo un archivo wav que tengo guardado y tiene FS=48.000 Hz:

[Y,FS,NBITS]=wavread('Qp-dulxGSqU.wav');

FS=48.000Hz NBITS=16;

And I want to have or keep that same wav file from matlab but with FS = 44.100 Hz. How can I do it? Thank you.

If you have the Signal Processing Toolbox, the best way is to use the resample function.

Example:

Y_new = resample(Y, 44100, 48000);

NOTE — This is UNTESTED CODE but it should work.
