What modelling method do you use for the Segmented Pipeline block?

According to the theory, I found 4 modeling methods to describe the pipeline dynamic behaviour. MOC (the method of characteristics), FEM (the finite element method), TLM (the transition line method) and RPTFA (the rational polynomial transfer function approximation). I didn't understand which modelling method do you use for this block. Also, I couldn't find references for this block.

The segmented pipeline uses the Lumped Element Method, which is similar to a finite element method.
