Hi,
I have written code that performs non linear optimization based on Powells method-I have written using an objective function found in an book and compared results. Results are good however when I apply the code to my objective function the results are too small. I need to apply side constraints but can't see how to do this in code and for an unconstrained problem.
Thanks
Will

Without the code there is not much we can do to help. Have you seen fmincon?

Sorry I only just saw this. Doesn't look like forum emails for comments. I can post my code so far if this helps.
