looking for a 3D graphic tool capable of measuring the true linear distance between two points picked on the displayed graphic

I am modeling a linear accelerator through a Monte Carlo code. I can export my graphics to a .xml or a .wrl file. I am looking for a 3D graphic tool capable of measuring the true linear distance between points arbitrarily picked on the displayed model through the mouse. Furthermore it would be great if it could also measure curvature of arcs in the model. Thank you so much.

I pick points on the 3D model projected view onto the viewport. If there is a way to label or name the points (vertexes) I am interested in then I can do without the mouse. I accept any solution that allows me to get real distances. Unluckily the graphic tool available to GEANT4 users knows no thing about my model coordinate system so I cannot make a sense of the distances it prints out. Thank you

Thank you. I am afraid I cannot understand how to apply these functions to my graphic data. There is no explanation about the input parameters. I can save my graphic to an external file as .xlm or ,wrl then ...how can I use the proposed routines ? I need a tool that can read one of the two formats to load my data.
