Function does not work despite having lisence

7 views (last 30 days)
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to use the pwelch function, which is part of the signal processing toolbox, but I'm getting an error. Check out the screenshot which shows my licence is valid, but still the function does not run. The script I'm trying to run is an example provided in the matlab help file for pwelch (which does come up when I type help pwelch). Any ideas as to what may be going on?
Thanks! Trevor

Could you execute
which -all pwelch
to see if you have the function installed.

I have the same problem. Matlab returns 'pwelch' not found. How do I install it?

Don’t panic! You could simply have a path problem.
Run these from the Command Window or from your script:
restoredefaultpath
rehash toolboxcache
Then give your pwelch call another go.
If that doesn’t work, and you’re still having problems, contact Tech Support.

Thanks for the suggestion. That didn't solve the problem, so I've contacted support. I'll let you know how it goes!

My pleasure. Also, my sympathies. I hope you can avoid reinstalling.
