Is it possible to install prerelease 2016b on a 64-bit Windows XP machine?

Hi,
I have one 64-bit Windows XP machine laying around and I was wondering whether it is still possible to install R2016b on it. It would be great to free up my own machine by running Polyspace elsewhere.
I have downloaded the DVD (64-bit only) and tried to install it, but got "Not a valid win32 application" error.
Do you know if Windows XP (64bit) is a total no-no? is there may be some workaround?
Thanks.

The last release supported on Windows XP was release R2015a as shown on the System Requirements Roadmap.
