Show the grayscale matrices values of an image

Hi guys, my question is about what is the syntax to show the matrices values of an image.It can be either grayscale or RGB.

I think you are either asking for all the values in the matrix or a particular location value..
If u want to see the whole matrix just type image name without semicolon
Ex:
image = imread('*.jpg');
image
%%the above displays the whole image matrix..
If u want to check a particular pixel value in a image just type the x and y location of it
EX:
image = imread('*.jpg');
image(y-location, x-location)
If this is not your doubt explain it briefly so we understand it..

Don't call your variable image since that's a built-in function.

Maybe you should just look at the values in the workspace - double click on your variable in the workspace to bring it up as an array.
Or else you can call impixelinfo() if you want to see the values as you mouse around over it.
Or you can call impixel() if you want just one particular pixel.
