CC2541 and MATLAB Connection

My computer can connect to TI CC2541 MCU but Matlab's Instrument Control Toolbox can't detect it when I press "Scan". Why is this the case and how may I resolve it? Thanks

I'm no familiar with this device. Does it support a Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP)? If so, you should be able to connect to it. Do you have a datasheet or some example code that connects to this device?

Which operating system and which MATLAB version?

For example if it happens to be OS-X then there was a range of MATLAB versions for which Bluetooth was not usable due to OS-X changes.

I'm not very sure. It supports BLE though. Not BLuetooth.

I'm using OSAL on CC2541 and the MATLAB Version I'm using is R2016b...

I've found an example that connect Empatica to MATLAB through BLE....So I'm trying to connect to the CC2541 USB Dongle... still can't build the connection.
