Will I have to call to discontinue my MATLAB package after the initial, free 30-day trial period?

At the end of the 30 day trial period, you will get a call or an email from a MathWorks representative asking if you would like to buy it or not. You can respond accordingly.

And if you decline to buy a full license, the trial license expires automatically. The trial versions do not have a hidden trap door to force you to pay.
