Forecast Simulation for Production
Show older comments
Dear,
Little background to my idea:
I would like to simulate a yearly production. For example we are producing 640000 watches. 988 out of 64000 have a mistake.
- 917 out of 988 don't reach the required gap width ( the set value is 1,5 μm. maximum of +/- 1μm is allowed)
- 36 out of 988 have a scratch ( depth of the scratch more than 1μm )
- 20 out of 988 don't work ( would say 0 = doesn't work, 1= does work)
- 15 shape is faulty ( would here also say 0 = not the perfect shape, 1= perfect shape)
And I would like to make the amount of those 4 mistakes depending on 8 main factors. Factors like : Motivation, Light, Concentration, satisfaction, communication, information, Coworkers, Boss
So for example if the satisfaction rise by 1 point, the amount of mistakes are lowered by 1%. If the concentration falls by 1 point, the amount of mistakes rise by 1%. I would also round those mistakes since you can't have 915,XX amount of mistakes.
I also would like to get plots for every mistake. So I can clearly see that out of 64000 watches, 917 had not the required gap. Or that 20 out of 64000 don't work. The amount of individual mistakes I would compare to the total amount of mistake and I would display them in bar graph [ mistake1, mistake2, mistake3, mistake4]. Additionally I would like to plot daily and monthly production and amount of mistakes. ( monthly prd=Amount of production/12, monthly prd = Amount of mistakes /12, daily prd= Amount of production/365, daily = Amount of mistakes /365 )
My Problem:
I can simulate with rand to produce 63.083 "perfect" watches withing a range of xmin= 0,51 and xmax 2,49. But I would like to involve those 917 "gap width mistakes" also in this with a xmin ≤ 0,5 and xmax ≥ 2,5 . And both should be plotted and be one line and not two seperate ones. Same goes for all other mistakes.
Same goes for the plot with 0 and 1. Where I should have 63985 times "1" and 15 times "0" but it should be random and not every 4266,66 watch (64000 / 15) should have the mistake. And I would like to plot it as a rectangular signal.
So I would be really thankful if you could help me.
Sorry for any english mistakes, english is not my native language. If I didn't explain sth. well let me know. And thank you very much in advance for your help :)
Cheers
