Matlab interface with SDR data streaming

Hi guys, I have a question regarding matlab's support for SDR.
I am currently working on a project that streams data from a SDR (picoSDR from Nutaq) to matlab. The streaming comes from the FPGA board in the SDR to a host PC through GigE. A C API (with source code) running on the host PC was already provided. It reads the data from GigE and saves it on the disk. My goal is to directly pass the streaming data from the GigE to matlab without reading or writing the disk. I have noticed that Mathworks has already provided an interface to a number of 3rd party SDRs.
My question is: What kind of interface in the matlab can I utilize to achieve direct data streaming from a SDR to Matlab? What is maximum GigE streaming throughput I can expect? Is it possible to pass streaming data from a C application to matlab directly? Thank you in advance

Dear Yu He,
first verify the modulation schemes,Most of the the times digital modulation techniques will give good throughput.I am also working on PICO SDR 2x2 MIMO nutaq. Its very interesting,i am starting recently only, now i am verifying the modulation schemes.I am very much of data streams transferring using SDR.If at all giving a chance to me share with some ideas and solution for your quection via mail. mail :panem.charan@gmail.com
