How to change the view of the new polarplot function

I want north to be valued at 0 degrees and clock wise increase in theta.
How can I do this with new polarplot function.
The solution provided here:

The solution provided in the link has been updated I think and it should work. Setting the 'ThetaZeroLocation' and 'ThetaDir' property of the 'polaraxes' object of the polar plot should give the desired result.
polarplot([0 pi/2 pi],[1 2 3])
pax = gca;
pax.ThetaZeroLocation = 'top';
pax.ThetaDir = 'clockwise';
