How can we create simulink block using .m file ?

4 views (last 30 days)
I have written a compression code in matlab which I have to run it on Raspberry pi. My project consists of many .m files and want to create my own blocks and come out with Simulink model. Is there any way to create own Simulink blocks and set our own parameters?

I am doing something similar to you, have an image processing algorithm as m file (calling other functions in it) to be run on raspberry pi stand alone. Pleas let me know what worked best for you for creating the simulink model.

Maybe you can find what you want with S-Function or Matlab function in the User-definied Functions library.

Thank you. 1. In my single .m file i have called many functions. Whether S-fun or Matlab function can handle this? 2. I have a script and in that, I have called a function. Which block in Simulink will be suitable to begin my compression algorithm.

S-Function will do the job, actually I'm using this block to call some of my c functions ( one function calling all he others).
