how to change parameter after using the sim command ?

hello I am using simulink in my project but i have problem .I know that there is the SIM command that lets me torn on the simulink simulation using matlab , how ever after I type the SIM command and want to change parameter in the circuit using the matlab i cant , how to fix this problem ? plz i really need help
