normalizaiton using mapminmax neural network

If i use the function dividerand and then afterwards "mapminmax" on my input and target data, will it automatically only normalize the target data and then apply the normalization to the validation and test data, or do I have to make this process manually as it will just normalize everything?

Which divide function is used is irrelevant. The question should be: Does MATLAB automatically use the complete dataset or just the training subset for normalization?
