RT_MODEL / real time model data structure not being Generated with Embedded Coder

Hi all,
I'm having an issue getting embedded coder to generate the Real Time Model Data Structure. It seems that when I try to call functions such as "rtmGetStepSize," these values are not defined or created by embedded coder. Are there some options I should enable to ensure the the RT_MODEL / real time model data structure is generated?
