Open *.nds files - Nikon proprietary Microscopy Video File

Hy everybody,
Would anyone know how to open, or at least read a Nikon proprietary NDS file (Not ND2).
- fopen does not work,
- imfinfo doesn't ether.

Do you know the format with which the data was written to the file? If not, and Nikon doesn't provide a function to access the data, you're probably out of luck.
Reading the data without knowing its format would be like reading a book written in Klingon when you've never even watched Star Trek: it could be the (original) Klingon version of Hamlet or the Klingon translation of Doctor Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I know I'm late in answering. Sorry. Thank you very much, I liked the analogy. The do not release this information apparently. so I just dropped it and used a second program for the elaboration.
