Hi,
i am confused about reading one-row PNG-files using imread. When i read e.g. a 1x256 image, it is converted to a 1x1x256 image due to the following lines in readpng.m:
% A one-row image needs to have this dimension re-imposed.
if h == 1
X = reshape(X,[1 size(X)]);
end
But why is this? Why does the dimension have to re-imposed? What's the purpose?
Cheers, Thomas
