Why is my MATLAB community file picture lo-res?

2 views (last 30 days)
The last couple times I've uploaded a picture to my community profile here, my fairly hi-res picture comes out really lo-res here.
Any clue as to why that would be? I see other folks have high quality pictures.
It was taken with an iPhone 5, is a JPEG file, only 64KB, dimensions 366x562, and looks fine when opened with a variety of software on my Retina display. (Well, as good as can be expected, given the subject.)

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried PNG. No improvement.

You're correct, there is some odd resizing going on, affecting some images more noticeably than others at various display sizes. We'll look into it and fix the issue in a future release.

Your picture now looks fine at 155 by 100. The one you've had for the past several months was bizarre looking but I assumed it was some sort of artistic effect that you wanted (elongated and noisy).

Well ...
My just-prior one was put through Prisma for an effect, but it was also much better looking on my machine than here. The current one looks better because it is just a simple photo with no effects -- but it is much worse than on my machine, and also worse than older ones I have uploaded here in the past.
It seems as if this site is not capturing the full resolution, even though it is small.
