Hi All,
I have a large set of data and I'm trying to fit those data with complementary cumulative distribution function (ccdf). for example, data1 = 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
I went through some people talking about this, but honestly It didn't make sense for me and It didn't work for me as well.
Please help me, I'm stucked with this for many days and future work is extremely depended on this.
Thanks in advance, Pich

Because cdf + ccdf =1, then the cdf can be estimated by thematlab function "ecdf". Try this.
[f,x]=ecdf(data);
myccdf = 1-f;
plot(x,myccdf)
