can we use assembly code in matlab

i need to interface a hardware for my program,so i hv a ready made code for the hardware to work in assembly code, so can i link this program with the matlab

You should probably try writing a MEX function in C, and embed your assembly code in there, or compile separately and link to a MEX wrapper.
