Solve the first equation for d^2s/dx^2 and insert the expression in the second equation:
(1+rho)/alpha * d^2s/dx^2 - (zeta+(1+rho)*beta/alpha)*t(s,theta)=-V(x)
delta * d^2theta/dx^2 = (-V(x) + (zeta+(1+rho)*beta/alpha)*t(s,theta))*alpha/(1+rho)-beta*t(s,theta)
Now use "bvp4c" to solve.
Best wishes
Torsten.
