I am trying to install Microsoft SDK 7.1. to allow me to build Excel add-ins w/ MATLAB. I was trying to follow the instructions here: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/101105-how-do-i-install-microsoft-windows-sdk-7-1 but I've run into an issue I'm not sure how to address. It's contained in the screenshot, which shows the notification I'm getting when I try to install SDK 7.1.
Appreciate any help!

What is the problem? This is not an error message, but a hint only. The contents of this message window is clear: Currently there is a pre-release version of .NET v4. Either press Cancel and follow the link, or try it without this tool.

When I follow the link to install .NET framework referenced in the screenshot it tells me I already have .NET 4.7 or later installed. So will MATLAB/compiler work w/ SDK 7.1. + .NET 4.7 or do I somehow need to try and uninstall .NET 4.7?
In the original compiler instructions in the hyperlink above it had recommended uninstalling .NET 4.5 so does the same apply to .NET 4.7 or do I select ok and go ahead w/ SDK 7.1. install?

Create a snapshot of the current system setup (a disk image, backup, restore point, what ever you prefer). Then you are free to try both ways and can restore the current state easily. Then I'd try to uninstall .NET 4.7 and follow the instructions. Afterwards I expect that .NET 4.7 is reinstalled with the next Windows Updates.
