Errors when installing and configuring Matlab Drive Connector

Hello,
I have some issues setting up Matlab Drive on my computer. Firstly, I installed Matlab Drive connector but could not locate a Matlab Drive using either Matlab or Windows Explorer. I therefore tried to reinstall. After uninstalling the software, I now get the error "The latest version of Matlab Drive Connector is already installed." when I try to reinstall. There is, however, no installation of Matlab Drive Connector to be found; neither in the Program Files and \MATLAB\Addons directories nor in the Control Panel.
I would like to get a Matlab Drive working. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Here is my experience,
First all, make some hidden folder visible, so you should click on the "Hidden items" under "Show/hide" subtab, which is under "View" tab in the top.
NEXT, then go to following directory: \Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\MathWorks\MATLABConnector, you could delete the folder "MATLABConnector" now.
Finally, if the above didnt work, delete the folder "ServiceHost" in the same directory path.
Now it should works. My windows version is windows 10, matlab R2022b.

I successfully solved this problem.I deleted following folder: "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\MathWorks\MATLABConnector" and reinstalled MATLAB Drive Connector. It works well now. My system: Windows 8.1 Matlab version: R2017b
I recive this message:
failed to start matlab drive connector because another instance is still running
I have the same problem of Jonne.
Else uninstall and re install it: Uninstall MATLAB Drive Connector

I do not have the MATLAB Drive Connector Icon, nor is MATLAB Drive Connector mentioned as a program in the Control Panel or Windows Start Menu. It is also not under installed add-ons in MATLAB.
Still, the error "MATLAB Drive Connector is already installed" maintains.
