finding the elevation change in a 2D matrix (4 by 6), it starts from one corner, and ends at the other, increasing in columns and finding the smallest elevation change cost by rows, I have put it into a for loop, i=1: col, even used while loop while I<=col once it reaches the end of the column it starts searching for points which are not there, how do I code it for it to have picked the last element of a column and stored in an array of Rows(i) and cols(i)? for example im at the position (2,5), and it has picked smallest change in elevation in column 6, (3,6), how do the col 6 position for picking points that are not there.
thanks
