C++ 11 VISUAL STUDIO AND IMPORTEXTERNALCTYPES

2 views (last 30 days)
I'm using Simulink.importExternalCTypes on 2017b to import some C++11 and onwards custom types. I'm using Visual Studio 2017 Community. I appear to be getting C++11 related errors, for example,
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\VC\INCLUDE\cstring:18: error: 20,
identifier "using" is undefined
Am I missing a configuration item?

Could you share example code and explain your workflow a bit more?
It would be helpful to know how you are using 'Simulink.importExternalCTypes'.

Looks like I expected too much of it. Works for simple types, structures etc.
