How to perform EOF

how can i perform EOF with netcdf data? if anybody has got a tutorial would be helpful because i am new in matlab. thanks lot!!

netcdf can be read using ncdisp, ncinfo, ncread.

TO get EOF you need to use svd (Singular Value Decomposition), eig . Read about the given functions.

I think the easiest way is with the eof function in the Climate Data Toolbox for Matlab. Check out the documentation, it describes how to read netcdf sea surface temperature data and do all the steps that are necessary for common EOF analysis.
