How to bilinearly interpolate grid data which has certain resolution to cylindrical or polar grids centered on each individual tropical cyclone center radially every 100km?

Do the interpolation in Cartesian coordinates and then convert to polar/ cylindrical..

Tanks for your reply! But I also have a question that, distance of one longtitude is different in each latitude. Fllowing is the grid that I want to interpolate to, which 'i' is refer to one degree of longtitude and also represents to the radiu. My question is how can I define my radiu since it varies with the latitude? (x00,y00 are the position of tropical cyclone) for i=1:40 xo(i,:) = x00 + i*cos(theta*pi/180); yo(i,:) = y00 + i*sin(theta*pi/180); end
