How to remove isolated mark by using hit-miss transform

Hello!! :) I want to ask about hit-miss transform.

Many paper say I can remove small isolated mark by using hit-miss transform. But, when I do hit-miss transform function(bwhitmiss), I just get several point. What does this point mean? and How I can remove unnecessary mark with hit-miss transform. please help me.

Granted, it's confusing. A confusing function with a confusing/misleading name. Probably does not do what anyone thinks it should do. You might be better off using normxcorr2().
