View only MatLab files in the Current Folder Window

For a couple of decades, including sometime in the last year, I was able to toggle between having the Current Folder window in the user interface show all files and having it show only those files that it considered to be “MatLab Files”.
This was done in with some pull down for visibility, that was never intuitive. I’m no longer able to figure this out. Did I just forget the incantation, or did something change? Does anyone know how to make the user interface not show 100’s of non-MatLab files in the same directory.

In the current folder window, you can group all available files (including folder, .mat, .m and all) by its type. You can do this by clicking right on the bar of current folder window. There you can see the group by command, and set by type After grouping, you can click on - sign, which is there before every group of files. You can hit - for all, except .mat files. And there you go.

I know I'm late but this could be useful for someone. Open a script, it will be automatically named "Untitled.m", left-click on the word "Untitled.m" just below the "Editor bar", it will appear as first option "Change current folder to...MATLAB", click on it and in the Command folder you will have only Matlab files. (You can do this procedure clicking on every script you have)
