I have some data collected every minute for a year. I am trying to make a circular plot (maybe a polar plot?) to represent the circadian trends on a kind of a crooked 24-hr "clock" but get nothing usable at all. Any ideas how to fit that into anything circular?

Did you ever find a solution to this? Currently working on a similar problem

t = 0:(60*24*365); % time in min
x = 1.5 + sin(2*pi*t/1000); % data
polarplot(t/(60*24)*2*pi, x); % 1 day for 2pi radian
