How to find the index of the minimum in a 1x3 cell {7x100x100}?

Hello there. I have modellet large quanteties of coordinates and now i try to find where the closest points are. i added the x and y coordinates so i only have one value in each cell but the size of the data is {7x100x100}. for 'normal' 2x2 cells there is an solution i found here which is
if true
[val,idx] = min([Cross_P1_P2{:}]);
len = [0;cumsum(cellfun('length',Cross_P1_P2(:)))];
idc = find(len>=idx,1,'first')-1; % cell index
idv = idx-len(idc); % vector index
[row,col] = ind2sub(size(Cross_P1_P2),idc)
end
anyone any idea or an approach on how to adapt to this problem? regarts
