Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried to train a bidirectional LSTM using MATLAB. Where the input is fed to one LSTM layer and the reversed input is fed to another LSTM layer, then the two layers are merged together by addition, multiplication or just concatenation so that the two layers learn simultaneously?
Any input is much welcomed. Thanks

As far as I know, MATLAB R2017b does not support bidirectional LSTM.

Please check this Bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) layer: https://www.mathworks.com/help/nnet/ref/nnet.cnn.layer.bilstmlayer.html I am going to use it in my research, and I'm using Matlab2017b
