How to supress figures popping up different filters

Hello, I have been using a script that gets auditory data and filters it, to later display it in various graphs such as spectrograph. When I run the scrip, two figures keep popping up and I was wondering if there is a possibility to suppress them from popping us. the filters that cause the figures to pop up are fvtool and freqz.

temporarily avoid figures to be displayed

disable plot/figure generation

Thanks for your reply, I just figured that fvtool's and freqz's jobs in the script are not to filter rather to visualize the filtration. i just comented them out
