Errors using functions like initp

Just downloaded some neural nets example files. I get errors like "initp" function not found etc. Is that supposed to be a part of neural net tool box or not? I do have neural net tool box installed. Thanks for any help.

Pappu - where did you download the neural net example files from? The Mathworks website or from Neural network simple programs for beginners? It could be that this file is missing from the FEX submission or is no longer a part of the Neural Network Toolbox.
I downloaded from Mathworks Fileexchange.
You may want to contact the author to find out more information for initp. It looks like it was built against R2009a which may (or may not) have had the initp function as part of this older ANN toolbox.

Matlab has integrated the NN toolbox into the deep learning toolbox. Many of the functions are no longer the same. initp was to initialize the perceptron. In the Deep Learning toolbox, you would have to create a network : net = perceptron; and then initialize it using the init command, and an intialization function, 'rands' for example.
In a nut shell, Matlab NN toolbox is changed
