How to install lte5g.mlpkginstall

30 views (last 30 days)
I downloaded lte5g.mlpkginstall but do not know how to install it. After double clicking lte5g.mlpkginstall, it asked to "choose the program you want to use to open this file" instead of installing.

The LTE System Toolbox 5G Library is no longer supported as of Release R2018b and beyond. This add on has been superseded by the 5G Toolbox (https://www.mathworks.com/products/5g.html).

I had the same problem. But I solved it. Drag XXmlpkginstall file to the Comand widow on MATLAB tool.
Then Add-On window is opened and starts the installer.

Hi,
The details are here: Get Add-Ons
"To install an add-on manually, double click the add-on installation file in the MATLAB Current Folder browser. An installer launches to guide you through the installation process. Valid installation files include .mltbx files (toolboxes), .mlappinstall files (apps), and .mlpkginstall files (hardware support packages)."
