I have an embedded matlab function in a simulink model that takes in a constant input and produces an output that I use to drive a joint actuator. That is,
constant input -> embedded matlab function -> to joint actuator
The issue I'm having is that the embedded matlab function is continuously calculating, which makes the output fluctuating with time.
Is there a way to stop the function after single calculation?

Put your Embedded Matlab function block in an enabled subsystem and enable it only once at the start of simulation.
See this tread to see how to execute an enabled subsystem one time only.
