How to suppress messages/warnings from a script?

Hi, I use fsolve(...); within a big loop (10^9 iterations). However I can't supress the message:
"No solution found.
fsolve stopped because the last step was ineffective. However, the vector of function values is not near zero, as measured by the default value of the function tolerance. "
but I think that this output significantly slows down the process. I already used warnings off, but that doesn't help. Any ideas?
Best, Christian

Hi,
try:
options = optimoptions ('fsolve', 'Display', 'none');
result = fsolve (your_input_to_fsolve , options);
This should turn off the messages.
